Ian Warner

Ian is the Managing Director of ISW, and after 11 years with IBM, he left his position as State Manager in Tasmania in 1996 to set up ISW. Ian's ultimate vision was to build a nationally recognised software and services business. Ian works with a very talented team and his fellow directors to build ISW both nationally and abroad. These days he spends more time on strategic issues, Corporate Governance, compliance, finances, HR and the ISW brand. Ian takes a keen interest in the employees and business culture of ISW and actively maintains key client and stakeholder relationships. Ian is on a number of Boards including a role of Treasurer of TASICT the peak ICT industry body for Tasmania.

Adam Brown

Adam is the Senior Executive Director of ISW and leads ISW’s technology and business development teams. Adam has a Computer Science Degree and Masters of Business and Technology. He has been at ISW since the start in 1996 and has over 16 years experience in IBM technology. Particularly talented in the consultation and application of the Collaboration Solutions/Lotus and Websphere range, Adam has also achieved certification across all IBM software pillars. Adam is often the spearhead behind innovation and research projects at ISW including Kudos Badges for IBM Connections, iWildfire and Wildfire. |

Scott Headlam

Scott is ISW’s most senior software engineer. This means he gets to tackle the most complex projects, of which he has a comprehensive track record of delivering successful outcomes. Scott has over 12 years experience with IBM technologies, with key experience implementing the large range of Collaboration Solutions/Lotus products, Websphere Portal and Tivoli Storage and Security. He is also extremely well versed in virtualized environments based on VM-Ware. Scott is also responsible for the operations of ISW's Data Centre for IBM Solutions. |
Michael Kasteel

Michael is an experienced IBM consultant with over 12 years experience in IBM Collaboration Solutions/Lotus with a focus on WebSphere Portal and Notes/Domino. He has a diverse range of IT skills ranging from consulting, development, administration, networking/communications, security, training, product management and sales. Michael's current role primarily provides our clients with high level support in administration and development to supplement the skills of our clients. |
Joel Thirgood

Joel heads up ISW’s Software Engineering and Consulting team and is in charge of allocating projects to staff with the corresponding skills and ensuring the team is clear on client’s objectives and timelines. Joel is an experienced Software Engineer with 8 years experience in IBM Technology. Joel has recently completed a Master of Business & Technology with the University of New South Wales. |
Mat Newman

Mat has over 17 years experience developing, administering, consulting and educating for Lotus Software. A certified Administrator, Developer and Instructor beginning with Notes 4, Mat joined ISW in 1999 to operate our Authorised Independent Training Provider for IBM Software practice. Mat has an extensive knowledge of IBM Software, from planning and implementing infrastructure through developing enterprise level Applications and educating users. Mat has presented at Lotusphere, served as a SearchDomino.com expert, contributes regularly within the ICS community, and has conducted hundreds of classes from End-user to Administrator and Developer sessions. Mat is often seen wearing Yellow! |

Jeremy has been working in the IT industry since 2004 and has been with ISW for over five years. Specialising in IBM Collaboration Solutions, storage, disaster recovery and infrastructure solutions from IBM, Jeremy’s focus is on end to end IT solutions. With a wealth of knowledge around the different vendors licensing models, Jeremy can easily combine a multi-vendor solution incorporating IBM, Microsoft, and VMWare, and ISW customised applications. Jeremy is also the go to guy for ISW's Address IT products, part of the Australia POST AMAS postal discount program.

Mark has been a sales professional since 1985 and has experience in a variety of IT roles both in Australia and England, including Account Manager, Product Manager and Business Development. With a Bachelor of Economics from UTAS and breadth of knowledge gained from international corporations including Océ Australia Limited, Acer Computer and IBM Australia, Mark has a wealth of ITC experience to offer. He is passionate about virtualisation, business collaboration and business analytics.

Neil started his career in the IT industry in the early 1980s as a Trainee Programmer and progressed to become a Senior Project Manager at a leading Melbourne IBM Software House. During this time he was instrumental in managing the delivery of many leading edge projects across a variety of industries. In the early nineties he co-founded an IT company which became a Premier IBM Business Partner and quickly established a reputation for providing exceptional value to its clients. As Sales and Marketing Director he was directly responsible for sales revenue growth of at least 50% year on year. Neil is passionate about understanding the key success factors for each of his clients and delivering exceptional service and value based solutions. | |

Tim is an Executive Director, focused on building ISW's business in NSW. With an Honours Degree in Economics from Nottingham University, Tim has 28 years’ experience in the IT industry. He has been at ISW since 2006. Tim works with clients around WebSphere, ICS, Tivoli, Rational, Information Management, and Business Analytics. He has worked with IBM since 1991 and has spoken at events such as Collective Intelligence, LCTY, AUSLUG and Lotusphere. Tim is a member of the IBM Social Business IBM Redbooks team. |
Wayne Tomlinson |

Wayne has a B.A. Applied Computing degree and over 12 years’ experience in the software industry. Wayne has held a variety of roles including professional service, technical sales, account management and commercial sales. He worked in both Australia and the UK for IBM Software Group for nine years before starting work with IBM Premier Business Partners. Wayne’s career has involved working closely with corporate and mid market customers across a variety of industries where he has delivered complex enterprise wide solutions. Close customer relationships and consultative engagements across multiple IBM Software brands are his focus. |

After a 10 year career within Federal and State governments, David commenced a new sales career within IT. With over 20 years experience in the industry he has worked for a number of large multi-national organisations including 10 years with IBM where he held various positions including State Manager of IBM South Australia. David joined ISW in 2012. He is focused on building solutions to assist organisations to resolve business challenges. He is very experienced in client discussions around BPM, Change Management, and software and services consulting solutions across a number of industry sectors. David is a strong advocate of developing strong client relationships based on consultative engagements.
